To tackle the international health crisis, Morocco reacted very quickly mobilizing its industrial sector especially to produce masks but also to manufacture the first artificial respiratory devices 100 % made in Morocco. A project for which our Casablanca’s site provided all its expertize.
500 respirators booked
In the context of the fight against the Covid-19, this major project grew out of discussions between the Ministries of industry, commerce, and economy but also scientists and industrial actors. The purpose was to design an artifical respiratory device with the components availabale in the national market. Theses devices will operate with or without electricity and will have an autonomy of 3000 hours. The GIMAS (Institute of aerospacial companies in Morocco) asked to Selha Group via Casablanca’s site to assist and support the electronic part of the device
A need of industrialization
Casablanca’s teams contributed on industrialization part of the electronic card. This one will pilot the whole device. The Moroccan site welcome also the ramp-up of the production.

This great adventure shows clearly the capacity of aerospace industry to adapt themselves, to reinvente according to the context.
